Best Ka’Chava Recipes – My Favorite Tasting Nutritious Recipes

Kachava, my absolute favorite meal replacement. It took me quite some time to come across it.

I went through many many others. You can see the one I use here.

I mean heck, I just got into meal replacements about 3 years ago.

It’s hard for someone to balance a busy career life with the desire to prepare and eat home-cooked meals everyday.

I know that because it’s a problem I go through on a regular basis.

Finding something that’ll keep me going during the day and in good shape without wasting too much time is tricky to accomplish.

I had to either opt for a meal replacement or some fast food.

And, well, since I’m the kind of person that is on the go and my main goal is get a boost with my day to day life while also staying as healthy as possible, I had no choice but to look for meal replacements.

I tried over 10... Most were not good.

A couple were good...and one was great.

Kachava, the ultimate meal replacement - nutrition profile and super food ingredients are highest of all meal replacements out right now and for me personally the taste is also the best.

You can see my full Kachava review here

Thing is, I used this stuff everyday and there are only two flavors, Chocolate, and Vanilla, so it does in fact get a bit dull when you have been drinking this stuff everyday for over 2 years.

So to spice things up I have experimented and made my own Kachava recipes.

Listed down below are the best recipes to go with both flavors of Kachava.

What Is Ka’Chava?

What Is Ka’Chava

Specializing in plant-based meal replacements, Ka’Chava is a company that produces powder-filled bags for creating instant shakes when mixed with water.

You get to pick a flavor of either vanilla or chocolate. What’s great about that is that the flavoring is done by using their natural super food ingredients.

What’s in a Bag of Ka’Chava?

What’s in a Bag of Ka’Chava

These are shakes that are quite high in protein. The protein comes from amaranth seed, quinoa, whole grain brown rice, yellow pea, and other plant sources.

You also have 9 grams of fiber with each shake you make. Chia seeds, whole grain oat, and other ingredients are used for the shake’s fiber component.

As for the vitamins, a big part of them comes from fruits. These fruits include cherry, raspberry, blueberry, coconut, and more, all of which contribute antioxidants to the mix.

There’s also a significant presence of organic vegetables in the mix, which enriches the shakes with minerals and vitamins.

We’re talking about green onion, garlic, celery, green pepper, kale, cabbage, spinach, carrot, beet, and so on. Pretty much all the building blocks of healthy foods.

Furthermore

I must also mention the adaptogen herbs included in the shake. These adaptogen plants are used by your system to make it more resistant and give you greater tolerance to stress. These plants include different types of mushrooms, ginger roots, and maca root.

Your digestive system also gets a boost thanks to the different prebiotic ingredients in the shakes. Prebiotics are Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Lactobacillus Rhamnosus, and inulin.

Additionally, you’ll get a bunch of different enzymes for digestion. So, you’ll get things like lipase, lactase, cellulase, protease, and amylase.

To guarantee an easy mix with water and a creamy shake every time you prepare it, Ka’Chava also included coconut milk in the mix.

As I’ve mentioned before, the company uses natural ingredients to create its flavors.

This is a vegan food replacement with no artificial ingredients. No preservatives are either used in the making. This shake is also creatine free, dairy-free, gluten-free, and contains no soy.

The lack of creatine is particularly a big one, since there has been worries that creatine could cause weight gain, while some fitness folks also wonder whether creatine is good for women, and if it's safe to take creatine on off days.

What's more, this is also one healthy whey-free powder, making it perfect for those with a sensitive stomach. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, this shake might just be perfect for you.

With each bag, you get enough powder to prepare 15 shakes. All you need to make one shake is two scoops of powder.

Is Ka’Chava Safe?

Is Ka’Chava Safe

Well, yes, it is!

In most cases, meal replacement shakes are safe to be ingested. Meal replacements have only gotten healthier with time as they keep moving towards a healthy and organic approach.

There are some instances where brands would mix healthy ingredients with not so healthy ingredients. That being said, reviews don’t mention any reasons to be worried about consuming these products.

Ka’Chava, in particular, delivers safe products. In a nutshell, you’re getting an amalgamation of superfoods mixed in a blend of a tastyshake.

Designed to serve as a balanced meal, Ka’Chava is a mix of superfoods and plant-based protein.

As mentioned above, it’s also rich in vitamins, minerals, and macronutrients that are critical for the human body’s normal functioning state. It also contains no harmful fillers or additives that may lead to potential harm and weight gain.

That being said, I can’t recommend that you throw traditional meals in their entirety and live off nothing but meal replacement shakes. That may be their name, but they’re not meant to replace a whole day’s worth of food.

Even the company itself advises its customers to avoid replacing every meal with a meal replacement shake, even though they can be quite tasty.

It’s important that you get nutrients from a number of different healthy sources.

Is Ka’Chava Meal Replacement Good for Weight Loss?

Is Ka’Chava Meal Replacement Good for Weight Loss

If you got used to eating some unhealthy, high-calorie meals on a regular basis, then replacing those meals with a Ka’Chava shake can be a good idea if you’re looking to lose some weight. It’s a shake that fills you up quickly without causing any bloating.

Ka’Chava is very clear on this matter. When you go to their website, they state that their meals are not meant to be a part of a quick-fix diet, but if used to replace a meal, it can aid in weight loss.

Combine this shake with working out on your weight loss cardio machine, and you stand a chance to gaining a controlled weight gain (you know, without causing loose skin). But hey, you can enjoy this protein shake without working out, too.

What’s great about all the quality ingredients used in its making is that they help you maintain your energy throughout the day and fend off any undesirable craving that may lead you to consume unhealthy food between meals.

Ka’Chava can be a great supplement to a well-balanced diet, especially if you are looking to boost your protein intake. This makes for a perfect substitute since protein powder is quite expensive, and protein pills are not very easy to find, yet.

My Experience with Ka’Chava & New Recipes

Simply put, Ka’Chava gave me the missing part of my diet that I was looking for. Being a meal replacement, it allowed me to have all the vitamins and nutrients that I require, all without having to invest too much time into preparing a meal.

Being busy for most of the day, I always find that I need to find a quick fix for my hunger, and Ka’Chava satisfied my need on that level. Out of all the 12 meal replacement products that I’ve tried, Ka’Chava stands out by a mile not only for the taste but for the incredible super food profile.

I have also tried different Kachava alternatives and compared various meal replacement shakes as you can see in my most recent side by side personal reviews and comparisons listed below;

But honestly, the one that comes close to Ka'Chava (least for me) is Lyfe Fuel Essentials shake, which I have discussed in my opinionated, to the point, yet detailed review of Lyfe Fuel.

You can check it out on on their site by clicking here.

Back to Ka'Chava...

This meal rep gives you one hell of an energy boost with its incredible collection of superfoods. I’ve been on it for almost three years now, and I’m still going strong.

How Can You Consume Ka’Chava?

While it is possible for you to make your shake in seconds by simply adding water, you can also mix things up by using ingredients you enjoy, like almond milk or coconut water, to add nutrients and flavor.

You can also add some vegetables or fruits to the mix if you want to change it up once in a while.

Drinking the powder as a shake isn’t the only option you have. Some people like to use it to make energy bars and no-bake bites. It can also be used with oats and fruits for making acai bowls.

Strawberry Ka’Chava Shake

recipe for Strawberry Ka’Chava Shake

  • ¼ Cup of Vanilla Ka’Chava

  • One cup of water
  • Optional: One tablespoon of Maple Syrup
  • Optional: A pinch of lemon zest and/or fresh black pepper

Directions

All you have to do is put everything together in a blender and blend until the mix turns out entirely smooth.

Adding the maple syrup depends entirely on the sweetness and ripeness of the berries you’re using. If you’re not certain, taste the mixture before adding the maple syrup. If it still needs a sweetness boost, then, by all means, add some syrup.

When it comes to the option of altering the flavor, then consider lemon zest or black pepper. I know that sounds kind of odd, but, by doing so, you’ll be amplifying the natural taste of the berries. All you have to add is a very small amount. You can either serve the shake immediately or let it rest for 2 hours. Either way, you’re in for a treat.
